Who's interested in seeing Kratos naked?
Shame that a game made by japanese people 30 years ago is still better than this game made today by french people. It's not terrible, just passable, but could (and should)'ve been so much better.
Oh well, at least I got it for free, albeit with no french dubbing.
That's different though, because the Switch is a portable gaming system, unlike the PC. That's why they're still selling.
True and I upvoted you, but when you say "going with the PC version because they're only $50 compared to $70" you're being very optimistic by saying that PC gamers will spend 50$ on Playstation games, or any other game for that matter (save for subscription fees for the likes of WoW and stuff), because PC gamers will not spend a dime on them, as it's so ridiculously easy to have your games for free on PC.
So, gamers would flock even more en masse from the PS to ...
Removing all the Playstation exclusives would be killing the Playstation brand, and Sony can't make anywhere near as much money by putting their games on Steam, where Steam takes a 30% cut, as they make by selling them on their own platform, genius.
Still no dynamic themes and still no web browser on the PS5, still no buy from me.
The thing is, it's not "simply presented as environmental storytelling" as you put it, since the developers allow you to actively participate in it...
It's different though. Just because we humans are like that, naturally inclined towards violence, doesn't mean animals should suffer for it. They've paid way too damn high a price in history, during wars etc.for the evil that men do, that wasn't their doing at all. No dog or horse or bird or cat ever came up with the idea to invent the Gatling gun, land mines or the nuclear or hydrogen bombs.
Impressive, but I'd like to see how Cyberpunk 2077 runs on the Steam Deck...if at all.
I wholeheartedly agree with the author's point of view. Good read. I think there's a place in hell for people that harm innocent animals. If you have to kill an animal to eat, or to sell it to someone else who's hungry in order to make a living and provide for your family, fine, but that right there has nothing to do with this. That right there is pure cruelty for the sake of making money and giving the plebs what they want, i.e. blood.
All the roms of 8-bit systems like the Master System or NES, or 16-bit systems like the Genesis or SNES, I know, I have quite a few myself, albeit not the whole rom sets, but every single rom means you have also the complete Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, Saturn, Dreamcast catalogs of games?
Do you have a couple PetaBytes HDD or what? lol
On topic, coming up with an offer like that in this day and age, when everyone and their dog can own all the N64 or Genesis games...

Damn, an SSD with only 2TB will cost you even more than the price of a PS5...?!
Over 1000$/€ for a games console is, how to put it... a bit stiff.
Gaming actually is an expensive leisure indeed, more than ever.
I highly respect Hermen Hulst for what he (along with his team) achieved at Guerilla Games, originally a small studio in a continent (Europe) that was never at the forefront for videogames and high-tech, with the Killzone games and then Horizon Zero Dawn, but I hope he's not at the heart of Playstation's new found strategy of porting PS exclusives to PC. Doing that could truly spell the end of PS as we know it someday, and it's esp. uncalled for when Microsoft seem to be waking up...
"Good looking game" is an understatement in the case of The Order 1886. Those were some of the most jaw-droppingly beautiful graphics ever seen in history. To think we'll probably never get a sequel because some fanboys in the media have made it a habit to slam PS exclusives, esp. when they prove to be a challenger for the exclusives on their system of choice... :(
Great game, and yes it is very immersive like most Metroid games, esp. in Metroid Prime Trilogy Pal version (for the actual 16:9 aspect ratio) for the Wii played on PC, with the possibility to create more orthodox controls for a normal controller like the DS4 more in line with what gamers would expect from an FPS. My only problem is that the aimsight sometimes remains stuck in a direction until I stop moving the left analog stick and readjust it with the right one, I still need to work out th...
Isn't it possible to install Windows on top of a Linux distro, like a normal app? At least an old version like Windows 7? Not sure as I'm not a computer-savvy person, but I think I read about that on the interwebs once. Obviously it would eat some of the system's ressources so I assume you wouldn't be able to run the most demanding Windows PC games, but surely you would then have access to some emulators only found on Windows and run plenty of cool games with that.
If they release a PS5 Pro later on maybe that's when I'll get it. But then again, maybe I'll just wait for the PS6 at that point.
Still looks like a cheap plastic toy compared to the Steam Deck though. And way less powerful. At the same-ish price... I know what I'd get if I were a handheld console gamer. Plus I bet you can emulate Zelda BOTW & stuff on the deck.
Wishful thinking. R* have become more than ever money-hungry hogs hellbent on selling you shark cards. The name says it all really, they're now so full of themselves they straight out let you know they're after you to eat you. Pure cynicism at its best.
Well said. I'm getting a bit tired of MS's antics. If it's just The Elder's Scrolls VI I'm going to miss out on, while unfortunate I can take it, but if Ubisoft are as dumb as Bethesda & Activision-Blizzard and sell out to MS and the next Assassin's Creed games are exclusive to Xbox, I'll be one disgruntled gamer at some point in the future.
